AmeraMex International to Begin Shipment of $9.5 Million Order to West Coast Ports
CHICO, CA — January 31, 2008 — AmeraMex International, Inc. (OTC: AMMX), a provider of heavy equipment to shipping, construction, logging and mining companies, today announced it will begin shipping a $9.5 million order for new container handlers to several West Coast ports in mid February. The company expects to complete the shipment of this order by the end of June 2008.
“The Port of Long Beach is one of the busiest container ports in the United States,” commented AmeraMex CEO and President Lee Hamre. “We expect to see continued growth in our sales to logistics companies at the Port of Long Beach and the Port of Los Angeles, as they expand their fleets to improve container handling efficiencies and replace older container and break-bulk handlers with new EPA Tier III-compliant equipment.”
AmeraMex sells Taylor Machine Works’ ergonomically designed, loaded container handlers to logistics companies. The handlers feature minimum effort pilot controls, decreased noise level, heavy load handling and a rugged, high-strength, all-weld chassis and frame. Each handler arrives with full support data and a 12-month or 2,000-hour warranty.
