CHICO, CA — February 12, 2008 — AmeraMex International, Inc. (OTC: AMMX), a provider of heavy equipment to shipping, construction, logging and mining companies, today announced it has received a $1,250,000 order for forklifts from a logistics company located at the Port of Vancouver, WA. The EPA compliant forklifts will be used portside to load and unload general break-bulk cargo. The order, which will begin shipping in June, is expected to be completely shipped by September 2008.
“We are pleased to see continued growth and expansion within our logistics customer base,” commented AmeraMex CEO and President Lee Hamre. “With the seasonal demand for logging, construction and infrastructure equipment, our strategy to expand our marketing focus into the stevedoring industry has paid handsomely and allows us to better balance our revenue and cash flow throughout the year. We expect to increase sales through account penetration and offering an expanded product line for our logistics customer base.”
AmeraMex sells Taylor Machine Works’ ergonomically designed forklifts for the loading and off loading of non-containerized cargo. The handlers feature minimum effort pilot controls with fingertip, full hydrostatic steering, decreased noise level, heavy load handling, a rugged, high-strength, all-weld chassis and frame, along with a high capacity cooling system to operate in any environment. Each handler arrives with full support data and a 12-month or 2,000-hour warranty.
