AmeraMex International Receives $750,000 Order
LAS VEGAS, NV — June 9, 2008 — AmeraMex International, Inc. (OTC: AMMX), a provider of heavy equipment to shipping, construction, logging and mining companies, today announced that it received a $750,000 order for Terex TXL 300 Wheel Loaders and a Terex TXC 300LC Heavy Excavator. The equipment is expected to ship during 2008. Terex is the third largest manufacturer of construction equipment in the world.
“Manufacturers of construction equipment are enjoying an increased backlog, which indicates an up turn in the construction segment for the remainder of 2008,” commented AmeraMex CEO Lee Hamre. “Our sales team is working closely with construction companies, particularly those focusing on infrastructure projects and commercial construction. Over the past several months we have seen the beginning of a recovery in specific geographical areas, which is benefiting our potential business pipeline.
“We are on target to meet or exceed our revenue projections of $20 million for the year,” continued Hamre. “The continued expansion of our international network provides an immediate outlet for our refurbished equipment, particularly infrastructure equipment and container handlers for resale in developing countries.”
“We are pleased with the progress we’ve made during the last five months,” said AmeraMex CFO Warren Murphy. “For the first quarter ended March 31, we reported record revenue of $5.5 million for the quarter and a return to profitability. The final phase of our compliance with the Pink Sheets Electronic OTC Markets will be the completion of the required two-year audit, which will allow the company to apply for listing on the Nasdaq OTCBB or another trading system. Our goal is to apply and make this change before year end.”
AmeraMex International sells, leases, and rents heavy equipment to companies within four industries: construction (light and infrastructure), shipping, mining, and logging. AmeraMex’s largest product line is specialized container handling equipment that enables stevedoring companies to quickly and efficiently load and offload container and general freight ships dockside. AmeraMex, with customers in North America, South America, Asia, and Eastern Europe, has over 30 years of experience in heavy equipment sales and service and inventories top-of-the-line equipment from manufacturers such as Taylor Machine Works Inc. and Terex Heavy Equipment.
